Provides recommendations and expertise in planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.Works closely with requirement owners to develop plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio and facility, or individual space requirements.Prepares or reviews facilities’ estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.Performs activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.Leads analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for sensitive missions utilizing facility planning solutions.Analyzes, formulates, and recommends facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts with National Security requirements.Serves as the Program Manager for the creation and establishment of geographically separated unit facilities from requirements to full operational capability.The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Operating Location Facility Program Manager for the Sentinel Systems Directorate. The Sentinel program is a major defense acquisition program charged to deliver a full system replacement for the nation’s Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System, providing a strategic deterrent to nuclear attack against the United States. This position is not eligible for remote or full-time telework situational-based agreements may be available at the discretion of the hiring manager. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking a full-time Acquisition Program Manager to work in the Sentinel Systems Directorate, Program Execution Division, Program Operations Branch at Hill Air Force Base near Layton, Utah.
